Green and White:
We’re going places, we’re flying high; Against all odds, we’ll touch the skies.
We’ll stand and deliver, bit by byte; Watch out! We’re in green and white.
We’re young and hip, singing sufi rock; We are the world, we’re a techie flock.
Boys and girls creating new worlds; We spice up our tech in a desi wok.
Dreaming, creating bit by byte; Watch out! We’re in green and white.
We’re the Indus and the Himalayan peaks; We have passion, chic*, and our share of geeks.
We are 24 and seven, we never say goodnight! Watch out! We’re in green and white.
Woof Woof:
Who let the dogs out, who let the rats in? You and I loose but democracy wins.
Our future’s at stake we gotta clean our bin; It’s an animal farm, surely the pigs will win.
To indulge is bliss and Ignorance a sin; Some say party, life is bus do char din.
Step up, place your bets, watch the wheel spin; Its holywood masala and only slumdogs win.
Wired not veined
Homosapien 21, all wires, look, no veins!
Electric, immediate, what a rush! no pain!
Away with the czars, watch out mexicanos!
CNN, Al Jazeira – they are wiring the game.
Smoke it or snort it the drug lords will lose;
Media moguls move in and tighten the noose.
Anchors and idols, news, opinions and views;
A world of lesser gods, Oprah and Headline news!
It will sober, excite, it will thrill and it will kill;
With Larry and Hillary, Obama and Bill.
No borders, no touching, no smooching please;
It’s wireless, slam bam, Hi Deb, thank you Jeeves!
Watch out religions, dictators, and democracies;
Beware O faithful, hold on to your philosophies.
You feel you belong, like you have never before;
The matrix beckons, plug in, get played, C’est la vie!
Life. A Mystery!
Life is a mystery you cannot solve; Live it and with death dissolve.
A maze, a puzzle, an unanswerable riddle; Follow along as life plays the fiddle.
Was Adam the first? Was our mother Eve? Once we were apes, is hard to believe.
Is there a God? But then who made him? They say such thoughts are a terrible sin.
A child, man, and then old age; In life’s short story, are each a page.
So live it and with death dissolve; Cause life’s a mystery, you just cannot solve.
